As our reputation grows, so does our team—and we’re now on the lookout for a passionate and driven AV Operations Technician to join us.

The Role

Are you eager to develop your career in the live events industry? Do you have a knack for AV technology and a hands-on approach? At AudioCP, you’ll play a vital role in delivering seamless events from behind the scenes—preparing, maintaining, and deploying AV equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment & Warehouse Operations

  • Prep, test, and maintain audio, visual, and lighting equipment for dry hire and live events.
  • Ensure all gear is loaded/unloaded from vans safely in line with Health & Safety procedures.
  • Manage hires and inventory using Current RMS.
  • Perform general maintenance and quality checks on all equipment.
  • Handle returns, checking for condition and functionality post-event.
  • Support logistics, including travel to venues or suppliers as needed.

On-Site Event Support

  • Deliver and set up AV equipment at event venues, working solo or with a team.
  • Assist with rigging and derigging across a variety of event types.

Company Standards

  • Follow all company policies and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Engage in relevant training and upskilling opportunities.
  • Use Current RMS effectively and accurately.
  • Support the wider events team to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in the live events industry.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Understanding of AV equipment with a willingness to learn more.
  • Flexible with working hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends when needed
  • A team player with excellent communication and people skills.
  • Comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including handling heavy equipment.

Schedule

  • Monday to Saturday (typically 5 days 10am–6pm, flexibility required). 35hrs per week
  • Occasional Sunday work may be needed.
